Warning: This is not an easy endeavor.

You will most likely experience a deeper recollection of your abuse than has been available to you in the past. Please make sure that you have a support system or understanding person around you as you begin this journey of telling your story. Keep track of your experience and relate it at the end. As with the rest of this soul assignment, do not include graphic details which may trigger another person. We are all in this to heal ourselves and assist each other in the process. Our goal is to reclaim our lives and the innocence lost so that we may hold the wounded one(s) inside in loving arms saying, “It’s okay, I’ve got you now!”

This is not a book about pointing fingers. It’s about stating what happened and discovering a way to heal. Although healing is an individual journey, I am hopeful that, reading other’s stories, inclusive of their healing paths, will help you discover your unique way to heal your body, mind, spirit and soul. It’s all about picking up from where we are now and moving forward into our own wholeness, whatever that may mean.

I’ve learned along the way that many of us perpetrated on others, either because we wanted to share the good feelings or vent our anger. Often we were young and our “victims” younger. We were doing what we knew and couldn’t grasp the ramifications it could have. Some of us acted out later in a retaliation of sorts. Not wanting to be the only one. The chain reaction is often brutal and can tear apart families or friendships. We did what we were taught. At this point though we must stop the cycle, forgive ourselves and make amends if possible. Since we are no longer in that moment; we are no longer of that frame of mind. We cannot judge a state of mind from our past. Stop the cycle of self-abuse, and abuse of others, we’ve all had enough! This issue will be addressed in the next book because we all need to heal.  Please indicate if you would like to have your story considered for that volume instead. The outline for that book will be similar to this, with some more pertinent topics in the outline. Go ahead and write your story now to advance your healing and edit it when the other outline is available and posted on the website.

There is a voice and story inside you, longing to be told and released from its imprisonment. Bring it into the light by quieting your mind, asking for Divine guidance and then let it flow. I did not write my story on my own; I couldn’t have as I didn’t know what longed to be brought into the light. I allowed the pen to traverse the blank pages until each portion was complete. I later typed up the written segments and cut and pasted them under the appropriate headings as my story did not come through in a comprehensive order. Rather it was guided throughout by Spirit. I was given what I needed and/or could handle at that time. Kind of a “topic of the day” type of thing.

This is an opportunity to release the pain through ink on paper and join the billions who share similar stories. Let it flow and you will know within your soul, when your story is complete. Don’t be surprised if you are called back a few times to do additional writing. As I indicated, I would feel “finished and relieved” and 3 days later found the pen back in my fingers to release yet another aspect. My story took 3.5 months to finally pass the expectations of my spiritual guides. I now feel an incredible freedom from within and joy is creeping, ever so slowly, but continuously, into my heart. That’s not to say that my story is “finished” as I am continuously healing at deeper levels, but writing this edition definitely changed my life for the better.

If your primary language is other than English, please write your story in your primary language first and then translate it later into English. This will assist in your healing at a more fluid and deeper level. Please send in both versions. If your story is chosen as one of the 13, both versions will be printed in sequence.

Everyone is responsible for the editing of their own story. Your words carry your voice and that is something I won’t be responsible for changing.

In submitting your story, you agree to allow it to be printed without compensation or rights to the book and do not hold the author or publisher responsible for any repercussions that my come from being part of this healing journey. This book is meant to facilitate healing and the majority of the proceeds will be invested in reprinting, distribution and assisting organizations working to promote such.

The names of all persons submitting a story, the outline or their name by the deadline 12/31/2026 will be listed in the book, late submissions will be added until a time determined by the publisher.

I have recently made the commitment to continue to accept and read stories sent to the email (genoveva@reclaimingmyvirginity.com) for as long as I am able to read in this lifetime. If there is a demand for it, additional editions may be produced. I am committed to assisting in this healing.

We all lost a lot, some more than others. Please acknowledge and send love to those who couldn’t find their voice or a way to survive the abuse forced upon them. We have lost some to the violent acts, others to the pain of isolation leading to suicide, drug/alcohol addiction, or other diseases of the mind that can infect the body with cancers and other debilitating diseases. You are loved and missed and we understand your pain as we now stand in love and join our voices and sing, “We Shall Overcome”.

Fill out the outline (for ease in writing your story) and attach it to the front of your story if you are choosing to submit one. Both will be printed in the book if your story is chosen. You may also submit just the outline and/or your name to be listed at the end of the book.

Use these headings in order: Use an editing tool like “Grammarly”, or a friend as I will not change your voice.
